It's been a while
Two months has gone since I last wrote here, oops! Well I gonna try cover the main things I've been doing since last time!
Starting off with a roadtrip I did in the beginning of October with two of my flatmates, Stine and Dolapo. Well all good, we hired a car and went off on a Friday night down along the coast to a town called Castellano de la Plana. We stayed overnight at a hotel and then on Saturday we continued down to Valencia.
The day in Valencia went to sightseeing, first to stroll around the city center, and then we jumped on a tourist sightseeing bus that took us around for a few hours to check things out. We stayed in a hostel camping outside the city, which was hot, smelly and with two backpackers staying in the same room.
Long story short, the next day we took all our things and drove down to Alicante. We had booked another night at the hostel to come back to, but we decided after the first night we might skip it.
When arriving in Alicante we decided to go and check out Santa Barbara Castle which is located in the middle of the city on a hill. We drove half way up and parked our car on a little parking place just below the castle.
After spending an hour walking around in the castle and taking pictures, we went back to the car, just to discover me and Dolapo's all packing was gone!
Someone had during that short time, taken up our window in the driver's seat, got in and fell down the back seats so they got into the boot and took two of our big bags! For some reason they didn't take Stine's bag, which we thought they were probably in such a hurry.
Well.. the next hours we spend at several different police stations to make a report and take fingerprints. Since the car was damaged (thank god we had full insurance) we then went and changed to a new car and decided to drive home!
A bit frustrating when it happened since a lot of things got stolen, including my passport, but now afterwards it's just a fun memory and we couldn't have done anything to stop it either, shit happens! ;)
